It was ABOUT TIME

Here is a drawing of Darklight, 's OC.
I made it to celebrate her two years on dA, and also to finally finish the request she asked me on Dec. 26, 2014, that I started drawing and ultimately ended up forgetting to finish, on three different occasions. I'll try to find these other attempts and upload them together to see how much I improved in two years.

At least, now I actually did it and I think this is what counts the most.

After having spent around 15-20 hour in total on this, I can say that I'm proud of the result.
This drawing has been my most successful attempt yet at shading wings - although I made them a bit too small and they could've been a tad lighter - and hair. I am currently in the process of changing the shape, size and position of the ears so that they will fit better, and this is very close to what I'm trying to reach.
Also, I feel like even if my style is steadily growing toward lifelike shading and anatomy, it's starting to stabilise at last. Man, what a journey it's been, and there's still more to come!
